  • Who is eligible for the Hungary Guest Investor Programme?

    The programme is open to non-EU nationals who meet the financial requirements, hold a clean legal record, and are not subject to any EU entry ban or international sanctions. There is no restriction by nationality. The most accurate assessment of your eligibility is through a direct consultation — we review your specific circumstances and give you a clear, honest picture before any commitment is made.

  • Can my spouse, children, and parents all be included?

    Yes. The programme includes your spouse or civil partner, your dependent children (including adult children in full-time education), and your dependent parents. Each family member receives their own Hungarian residence permit carrying identical rights and validity to that of the primary applicant.

  • Is the €250,000 investment refundable?

    Under the Real Estate Investment Fund route, your capital is placed into a regulated, asset-backed fund. It is an investment, not a donation. The terms of liquidity and exit rights are governed by the fund prospectus, which we review with you in full before any commitment is made. Under the Public Trust route, the €1,000,000 is a direct contribution and is not refundable. Both structures are explained in complete detail during your consultation.

  • Do I need to live in Hungary full-time to maintain my permit?

    No. The programme does not impose a minimum physical residency requirement. It is designed for internationally mobile families who require a permanent European legal base without a mandatory relocation. Conditions relating to permanent residency and citizenship progression are explained separately and in full during the advisory process.

  • Is this programme fully legal and EU-recognised?

    Yes, without qualification. The programme is established under Hungarian government legislation, administered through official state bodies, and fully compliant with EU immigration regulations. The permits carry full legal validity across the EU and Schengen Area. We do not advise on arrangements that sit outside those boundaries.

  • What is the difference between the two investment routes?

    The core difference is structure and minimum amount. Route A requires €250,000 deployed into a regulated, asset-backed real estate fund. Route B requires a €1,000,000 direct contribution to a designated Hungarian institution — simpler structure, not refundable. Both produce the identical residency outcome. The right choice depends on your financial preferences and approach to the investment structure, which we work through with you in the consultation.
